to all detractors as with all Italian machinery , be it a Ducati, MV Agusta or a Fiat or Ferrari it you don't rev it hard it won't last. Remember they are built to be ridden balls to the wall not trundled round town!

With that engine sound I wouldn't trust the bike. They called Ducati and Mv Agusta few miles of glory I Owen a 2010 mv Agusta f4 and it's a piece of shit. The only good things Italians make it's cloths. This bikes are lemons after 6000 miles. Trust me look at my video 2010 Mv Agusta f4 problems.

@mtcandsn7 hello, we owned Ducatis and MV Agusta's and i only learned one thing: they are not made to be driven on the Street.
The Ducati Desmosedici, as well as the MV Agusta's, needs to be revved up very high in order to cool the Engine... MV Agusta F4 Engine needs to rev over 6000rpm to let the water pump push enough water to the Motor, the Ducati Desmosedici needs at least 8000Rpm.
we use them ONLY on the RaceTrack and pulling them to Redline always, and never had a problem

@mtcandsn7 never had a problem either with the Ducati Desmosedici or with the MV Agusta F4... the trick is: REV THEM HIGH!
MV Agustashave the tendency to overheat if they are revved BELOW 6000rpm... go OVER 6000rpm and it will cool down... same thing for the Desmosedici, but with 8000rpm, the DDA confirms, below 8000rpm there is not enough water getting to the Engine.
These are Racing Machines, if you go around town with it, you will always have probs, come to the Racetrack!
