Copic colouring lesson 1 part 2

Does it ruin the lighter colour pen if you are always going over the top of a darker colour when you are blending it? Wouldn't the darker ink coat the lighter pen?

@steelbath no not really, because these are alcohol pens they dry quite quickly meaning that the ink when blending doesn't absorb into the nib. Unless you directly touch both nibs of two tones to try and blend that way then yes they would stain each other but you can scrub your pen onto a scrap piece of paper and it will remove the stained marker colour x hope this helps :)
