Julia Davis Park has a beautiful rose garden. It is over 100 years old. Here are a few of the hundreds of roses.
Also, I have found that the MK Nature Center on Walnut and Park Streets is a very nice place to visit.
They have several acres of streams, ponds, fish, birds, deer and a lot more wildlife. What is amazing is that it is free and available 7 days a week. They have an education center with daily hours, but the stream walk tour is always open.
I have personally taken my family and friends there. Out-of-town guests are astonished at the quality of education and enjoyment they gained. It is next to the Municipal Park. Have Fun.
Absolelutely my Favorite place to go in Boise...thanks Amee !
