This is why I love 60's TV. It was more "content based" than commercial. Certainly the sponsors got their money, but an hour show ran 51 minutes when you count the opening and closing credits, previews and network bumpers. Most often, these things don't wind up on DVD, which is a shame. As much as I love having my favorite shows on pristine video, I will always hold onto my 16mm film copies. They are the closest thing to "being there" as I'm gonna get.
