UWA (Ultra-Wide Angle) lenses are hot right now, and with the announcement of Nikon's new 10-24 we thought a word from Canon about their offering for you Rebel and xxD users out there would be in order. http://robertsimaging.com/cmItemDetail.jsp?pid=5801
What do u think of the tokina 10-16mm vs the canon 10-22mm lens?

@oneandahalfasians well... if you haven't bought it yet... do it... suuuuper sharp, you gotta try really hard to get a flare in the lens too, really awesome

@Tom44400 since it's so wide, it's somewhat forgiving in the shake department, I use it more than the 18-55 now...

Hi, Do you have to use tripod every time you use this lens because no IS
OR it does take great pictures without IS? thank you

Ultra Wides do definitly help to deal with the crop factor that most pro-sumer camera's can offer you.You really have to go Wide to beat that ;)
I like what I see.
