Bowie's bad Cowboy was probably the best thing about it.

It's not a great movie at all I agree, and yes the acting left a lot to be desired... but Bowie was definitely the best thing in it.

Everything David wears in this film can do no wrong though, to be fair, he suits all of it, expecially the hat and boots!

I think David Bowie acts in things like this that he can have fun with. The movie itself is lacking, but I can see why he choose it.

There's so many things wrong with this movie...but then again I've seen worse ones today that get praise and awards. The way it is filmed isn't very good and the acting no..who wrote this and directed this?

@huettmr If you ever acted for anything, you would know a lot has to do with script and directors. The actors can only do what they're told and work with what they're given with unless they're given more freedom. They might say or more safely think "this utter crap" but they'll still do it if they get paid and still have fun with it. I'm sure if someone else directed this, it could have been quite decent.

Ooooh... for some reason when David is "playing teacher", i have a feeling he would have been channeling his own teachers when he was a boy... My grandad is the same age as Bowie he always tells me how they were brutal back then...

if there was ever an acadamy award for worst movies this movie would rank in the top 2. The acting sucks.
