@whipwhat101 It's true that it's on both of those networks, but they only make phones for one or the other, you can't use both and combine them. But it still means that pretty much anyone anywhere is going to get three or four bars.

@tomspeckle You definitely need to go pick one up, you won't regret it! ST is on the Verizon and At&t networks too, so we get the best coverage in the country and save a ton of cash.

@tomspeckle I've been on Straight Talk for four months now and I can say that it is amazing. I heard customer service aint great but I've had no need to call because they have yet to drop one of my calls and it's exactly what it says: no contract, 45 bucks a month, unlimited.

This dude sounds pretty genuine! I just can't believe contract providers can still look at themselves in the mirror after charging what they charge. I have gotta go to Walmart and find out more about Straight Talk. I feel like a bit of an idiot for sticking it out on a contract for so long. Hope this is all it is cracked up to be because it sounds amazing..

Yes! $45 a month for unlimited service is the best price in the market. Straight Talk surely knows what is doing, it really doesn't get any better than that and no contracts. wow. I got a super cool phone for xmas, a smart samsung, it's really amazing but I'm even more thrilled about how affordable my phone is going to be begining today.

@mschroder799 Wow it's cool that you've done that research, I had to switch to prepaid when my credit went low and now that I've got it all fixed I'm still not going to switch back, Call me spoiled but I don't want to spend more than 45 buck per month lol

@4doodledog The best value you can find, and I know for sure because I need to spend as little as possible so I've done all of the research lol. I can't find anyone who has an unlimited plan like the one you can get on Straight Talk for less than 45 dollars and it uses the Verizon network so I don't think you can do any better.

@equilz90 Yeah and they even have smart phones like the Nokia 6790 so there's really no reason to stick to a contract carrier. It even uses the Verizon network so you know it won't drop any calls.

I think more people should look into Straight Talk phones over the holiday season. You aren't only giving them a great phone like the Nokia 6790 but you're also relieving them of the burden of a contract! and only 45 bucks a month, they'll thank you for the money they save.

The service really is the same or better as any other big time service provider out there. The phones are priced great and the straight talk deal for $45 a month with unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited mb of data transfer and free 411 is the best!
