Warsow Deathmatch 1680 x 1050

This is another free online FPS game like Assault Cube, however it's style is much different. The game is far more fast paced, and there are more weapon types to choose from, and said weapons are more sci-fi in style (such as a laser weapon, which shoots out a flexing beam of light). This match is restricted to one weapon though. There is a lot of emphasis on speed as well, and acrobatic movement too (you can walljump).

The game comes with a couple of basic gameplay tutorials, you should look at them if you install this game. And like Assault Cube, it is open source and can be modified. It seems you can share the mods, and play with others online using them, though I've not experienced that, to my knowledge (I haven't played much).

You may be wondering why I didn't record this at the usual 1920 x 1080 HD resolution. That's because that resolution isn't available. 1680 x 1050 is the highest (widescreen) resolution I can play without going over my native resolution (the next highest widescreen resolution is 1920 x 1200). You can, in fact, set the resolution insanely high (if I remember correctly, there was an option with the width being over 6000 resolution!).

This vid is also quite short, sorry. Unlike Assault Cube, you really can't afford to have slowdown in this game, it is too fast paced. I'm sure you can tell that from just this short video.

@zeronial1 Probably something in the settings. I have everything maxed out and whatnot. Possibly there is a gore filter, I dunno, I haven't touched this game in a long time.

this is just a quake 3 arena clone. you can already play that for free online too. this just looks like shit.
