First firing of the 30-30 Win BFR.

I really wasn't sure what to expect firing this Biggest Friggin' Revolver for the first time. The 30-30 Winchester rounds were 170 grain with a muzzle velocity over 1900 fps.

BFR stands for Biggest Finest Revolver. The 30-30 Win is almost the smallest caliber that Magnum Research offers. I selected this specific model so the ammo matches my 30-30 WIn rifle. The caliber goes all the way up to 50 AE. It is pretty comical getting kicked off the pistol range for shooting a hand gun that takes rifle rounds.

I'll take my tc encore with a 15 inch bull barrel over that thing. Of course if you want a real man's hand cannon, I can screw on my 416 rigby barrel and let 500 grains at 2500 fps fly.
