Your theology is confused.I'm polytheist and I can tell you that the One Almighty is as different to the Gods as they are to us.The Almighty is omnipotent while they are not.The almighty is existance itself, sometimes reffered to as the wheel of fate (or if you're a Star Wars fan, the Force ha ha).The Gods are seperate cosmic forces of powerful but limited ability that exist within the universe just as we exist within them.They cannot defy destiny anymore than we can defy them.
