"This guitar keeps goin out of tune. Me Rickenbacker broke."-Philo.

Hey this is great! Phil & the boys sound hungry & are tearin' it up! Bloody pity there's no film of them in this sort of form. The Live & dangerous filmed concert is really disappointing I think & doesn't do 'em any justice - Phil looks wasted & they're not on form. Biggest bummer that my favourite live band were never captured in their true glory. Sorry to muse negative - this is great archive stuff!

Best example of the "duelling guitars" that I can think of.

@JonnyBlahBlah Suicide was one of their "new songs" at the time and I remember the chorus and that unmistakable riff very clearly. I really liked it and then didn't hear it on record until much later after became a fourpiece. I still like it!

@magicalex2007 was Suicide written while Bell was still in? I thought it wasn't written until they did 'Fighting'

I have never seen Thin Lizzy. I have seen about every other rock act because I work in the industry. I have these albums but no turntable. Thanks for posting. Brings back memories from a great time in my life. UFO with the Shenck would be second.

Saw them play this live as a three piece (with Eric Bell) on February 2nd and 3rd 1973 in Glasgow. Excellent song. Excellent band. I miss them.
