A New World Record for a Plastic Free Ocean

Tom is planning to break his own World Record by Stand-up paddle boarding from Key West, Fl to New York City. Its around 2,800 miles which is more than double his current World Record of 1,250 miles he set at the California Paddle Challenge in 2007.

He is doing this to raise awareness for the ever growing pollution caused by plastics in our oceans.
Similar to his record-breaking, ultra-endurance run across America (120
consecutive daily marathon-distance runs regardless of terrain or climate),
Tom must stay on schedule every day from Key West to NYC. Numerous events
are being planned at landfall locations along the route to raise awareness
and funding for the mission of a Plastic Free Ocean.
