  • @OhanaDigitalFilms Thank you, Ohana... you beat me to the response. That is pretty much what I said in the first episode of the podcast. The Government tip toes around making a specific definition of the word "Insurgent", because when you look at the actions of who they call insurgents, they are the same actions as any other nation trying to fight off an oppressive force. Thus, the reason why I linked "Patriotic Insurgent" together... its kind of a play on words.

    Thank you again!

  • @MINITMANRADIONETWORK I too tried to research the definition of "Insurgent" It wasn't really used much until America invaded Iraq. Instead of calling the Iraqis "rebels", or "anti-American", it seemed like that was where the word "Insurgents" described the very actions that we Americans used to repel Britain's attempt at dominating our freedom in our colonial age.

-To me, I think it makes sense: Patriot, Insurgent... both the same, only one is demonized the other glorified for their courage

  • @MINITMANRADIONETWORK where does your definition come from? In the very first podcast on "What is a Patriotic Insurgent", I go into depth about how the word is tossed about the media with great purpose, yet very few are willing to admit that they don't know the true meaning of the definition.

The American Government PURPOSELY gives a vague definition of "insurgent", because the truth is, "Patriot" and "Insurgent" derive from the same meaning, but they carefully tip toe around elaborating on it.

  • Fail. The definition of insurgent is someone who comes from the outside.
