It's still young! And hungry! It's not usual to see a kingfisher eating millipedes! What a breakfast!

  • @Jawa2lak That is an important piece of information. Thank you for sharing it. Maybe the scarcity of lesser fishes and mollusks in small waterbodies (due to extensive use of insecticides and inorganic manure in agriculture) led them switch over to the other food habits.

  • To day morning I saw the King fisher with some bird's egg in its beak. I think this bird is also another menace to nestlings. Nice capture my dear friend.
