Urumqi, the capital of xinjiang uighur autonomous region has become one of the most modernized cities in centeral asia and western part of China. I can't believe this is a city that surrounded desert and mountain.

@fucksouthkoreagook hi, my friend, i think you misunderstood me, i am a han from zhejiang, southern china. and i love my country, i hate separatism. but what i meant was that han today is more like a belief, instead of a race, you can find different lookings among han across china, during thousands of years of developing, more than 60 races have been mixed together, including those disappeared today, and they formed han. so han means peaceful live and a unique mixed race.
