Ukraine Holocaust

French Catholic priest Father Patrick Desbois has worked tirelessly for seven years uncovering a little-known part of the holocaust during World War Two. Father Desbois collected testimonies from hundreds of eyewitnesses about the holocaust in Ukraine. Strikingly different from what most people know about the holocaust--the hidden gas chambers and the work camps--these atrocities were not hidden from the public. This was a broacast shown on NBC Nightly News on January 23, 2008, with Ann Curry reporting.

Jews were behind the Holdomor, who caused as many as 12 million Ukrainians to starve to death. Stalin and his henchmen took every last bit of food from Ukraine, and sent it to the west while blockading the borders of Ukraine and shooting people for trying to grab grain from fields guarded by NKVD troops. So until the Holdomor is acknowleged as a Holocaust against the Slavs, cry me a river. The Jews killed as many as 80 million Slavs between 1917 and 1945.

Can you imagine for exhample monuments of Hitler or Eichmann in Germany? They exactly like Bandera were fighting for their contries were in a same way " patriots". And ideology is exctly the same : to kill all which are not germans/ukrainians UON UPA killed therefore not only Poles but all which were no Ukrainians It was really psychopatological ideology I understand that Ukraine needs heroes needs own history but surely you have also real heroes ( f.ex.Petlura )not murders

Before 1991 I was some times in Ukraine I had friends there nobody was speaking about genocide of polish minority because it was already so many years ago And now when I go to Ukraine and I see in ever town a monuments of greatest murders :!andera and Schuchewytsch I hear people which say they have done very good killing Poles I can t stop think about genocide How in such situation we can forget and forgive ? Ukraine is the last nazi land in contenporanery Europe

I can not understand still ideology which says no ethnic minority is allowed in our country if any exist we must exterminate That was just official ideology and programm of OUN UPA For centuries our nations were living together in peace they were much mixed marriages and this fucking nationalistic ideology was the reason of the genocide Normal people always want and can to live together in peace and harmony but when comes politic then begins horror

It was very bad history but yet worse is that now in Ukraine is much peoole that call murders as national heroes I would like to be a brother to all Ukrainians and Rusiians to all people but I can not imagine that my brother could be nazi for which faschist are heroes

@Furmanov18 Yes the Poles have killed also Ukrainians but only about 4OOO mostly as selfdefence but not only I will never say that it was good to murder ukrainian civilians But you must also remember that Ukrainians have killed about 18O OOO of Poles Only the proportion says who was here agressor

@jg195a I'm a Polskie Ruskie myself, but you should not forget that both Polskies and Ruskies have murdered alot of Ukrainians also, we must respect our fellow Slavs that have died but remember: Pol, Rus, Ukrainians and so on are of the same origin. We are the same.
