Vandy Beth Glenn was fired from her Georgia state legislative job when she told her supervisor she was transitioning from male to female. She testified at a hearing regarding H.R. 3017, Employment Non-Discrimination Act of 2009 on September 23, 2009.

Diversity respect is only on paper...Unfortunately nobody wanna hear what we have to say, in 2010 and we still suffer discrimination in America, I am black and have a governmental job and not too long ago I was stopped to hang out in a certain break room. The Filipinos employees complained about my presence and the management just went along with it... nobody to complain... nobody wanna hear. My friends co-worker now nick named me "Keep Out"

Vandy is as brave as she is articulate and lovely. A truly ideal "spokeswoman" for the ongoing struggle for EQUAL HUMAN (NOT "special", and NOT "trans") rights

Our so-called "community" (think about it) needs about 1000 more like her.
