Polaris Snowmobile hillclimb crash.mpg

Climbing a local hill on my ProRMK 600 (ProX stretched out to a 144"). The snow was hard and didn't allow for quick transitions. Ended up catching a tree with my carbide which stopped my progress.

The snowmobile for those who are interested is a 2003 Polaris ProX racer with a 2001 600VES motor swapped in. Stock suspension with tracksUSA extensions and a Camoplast 144x2.25" finger track. It has UNI pod filters on the carbs, custom jetting, custom clutching, AAEN single pipe with built in silencer, RMK gearing, Gripper Skis, and Fly Racing aluminum bars.

How did you have your suspension setup for the Deep snow??  Front arm lowered 1" or in stock position? Did it climb well?

@pearlwhitesaturn stock tunnel holes mounted through the lower holes on the front torque arm to the skid rails. Climbs very well with the 2.25" track.

@johnjames600 Aaen single pipe, supposedly only a 6hp gain but 24 pounds lighter

@mag2395 Sled was fine. Just needed to be turned around and hit it again. I didn't video the second attempt which went much better although I was still short of the top but about 50ft higher than anyone else thanks to the finger track.

@Geckoman02 For your information I own 3 Polaris', 3 Arctic Cats, and 1 Ski-Doo. The Polaris in the video is still the most reliable and capable sled I own.
