I think it's strange that a lot of people think of Rush as stodgy and impersonal. They are actually hilarious.

u know me, u know I'm NOT a big Claypool fan. Alex & Primus..um..NO MATCH FOUND! This guy's used to playing w/Geddy Lee on a regular basis for the last 35 years or so! Him being in the same room w/a band who has a joke, Claypool, for a bass player is almost an insult to his intelligence & musicianship!..But he plays along well & patronizes the band with the charm & personality that's helped make Rush who they are. Good job Alex! No offense to Les but he's NOT a bass player! He's an fx player!

I bought this Animals DVD when it came out.... 5 years ago? Anyway, I was a great Primus fan, and watched this over and over, and I did not know who this man was.
Seasons changed, time passed by. Days became months, months became years, and I really got into Rush and stuff. Then, a couple months ago I blowed the dust of my good ol' Primus DVD, watched this segment again I was like
"THE FUCK, is that Alex Lifeson?? The whole time, on my Primus DVD, the interviewer was Alex Lifeson in disguise."

too f-ing funny!!

I heard somewhere that Primus opened for Rush, and that Geddy and Less jammed on stage...

I was watching some Rush documentary that came out recently and they talked about that. It's just Neil who's like that. It's not that he's a dick, it's just that he's uncomfortable with people idolizing him.
