For our Music History I class, we study the Medieval and Renaissance music period. To supplement this study, we are assigned to play various pieces for the class. My friend and I played a piece called Chominciamento di gioia, written around the 14th century FOR A WIND INSTRUMENT (hence the awkward bowings and string crossings, as it's not meant to be played on a violin!). I know there are a lot of mistakes in here, but it was freezing outside so my hands were tight, I didn't warm up because we just took an exam before this, and I was sight reading. Please don't yell at me for being horrible or for being tone deaf because the intonation is off. I'm being such a typical musician, always critiquing my stuff after I watch it, so I'll stop. Despite all this however, I hope you'll enjoy this piece as much as I enjoyed playing it.
Good Music. I'm working on my Violin playing . Ask your camera girl / guy to stand up next time, for a better shot. Check my vid ...." Lieve D -2 " for some nice cam shots and music...if you want to.

I agree with 101converse; this was amazing. You're amazing. It's nice to see you again. You have been missed. I hope everything is going well for you.
Again this was truly inspiring. You need not make any excuses for your playing. Those who would criticize you are only jealous, because they could not play as well as you, myself included, on one of their good days.
I also love this piece. Thanks for posting this. Hope to see you again soon.
