Find me on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Ola-Englund-Fearedse/168379573220846

I'm playing a Feared song called 45. The original song is around 7 minutes so I cut away some parts. Made up a solo on a vocal part on the fly, so if you don't like the solo then screw you, I did it in 15 minutes.

Be sure to watch 3:20 for the best part!! Love that riff..

I've pointed out the riffing parts as comments in the video for the guys that don't like the intro ;)

Signal Chain goes like this:
Ibanez MTM2---Framus Cobra---Mesa Boogie Roadster 2x12---Shure SM57---Apogee One---Logic 9

Thanks to Kim Wiklund from the band Monoscream (http://www.myspace.com/monoscream) for letting me borrow his awesome amp.

Oh yeah the settings where:
Lead channel No notch
Gain: noon
Presence: 10 o clock
Bass: 12:30
Mid: 1 o clock
Treble: 11:30
Deep: 0

  • Is this in drop a? I wanna try maybe learning it by ear.

  • Fearedse did you use your tube overdrive in this video? I don't see it in the signal chain, but if you didn't damn this beast has a lot of tight gain.

  • damn, this is a good song.

  • that dog looks so fucking metal

  • @JustSomeRandomNewb I don't know about other rectifiers but my roadster is the most easy amp to dia in in my opinion. They are quite expensive, that is true, but still my mesa > 6505+ but I think it's a matter of opinion too. I really dig everything on the mesa over everything else I own, especially the clean tones are extremely good compared to my other amps.

  • @0yavuz framus.de

  • @readymade98 usually by buying it.

  • @Kizuatojp I'm not ola, so don't bitch bout me :p but i think there are 2 things to concider, Rectifiers are imo overpriced, and they can be a bitch to get real good tones out. Also, I think one of the more important things is whether or not you plan on heavey detuning (C or lower) as the rectifiers tend to get very muddy there.

  • Dude Ola! Do you have a tab for this song somewhere? It's fucking beast!
