As part of the Black Consciousness Week in Brazil, PUC-Pontificia Universidade Catolica of Rio de Janeiro invited the photographer Mario Epanya to do an exhibition of photographs of black women in the campus of 21 to 25 November 2011.

More than 400 people were able to see the exhibition, among them the Minister of Racial Equality Bairros Luiza, the artistic director of Osklen, Oskar Metsavaht, The representative of Educafro, Frei David and the cultural attaché at the French Consulate in Rio de Janeiro, Bernard Micaud.

In the first day of the exhibition, it was held in the auditorium Padre Anchieta round tables to discuss the presence of black in fashion and media.

It was great success!
