The higher mining you have the more chance you have at getting the larger chunks of granite, always use a mining familiar.

The pickaxe that i use is called the inferno adze and cannot be destroyed by the exploding rock random event, in fact you will never get one if you use it.

I was under the impression you needed to carry water- skins and wear robes... please correct me if I'm wrong as I'm aiming to max.

The Water tiara works like waterskins ( uses water runes ) and has the advantage of not having to refill waterskins, it saves inventory space too.

Desert robes are not required but they are convenient as they slow down the need of water, keep in mind that the varrock armour is more important then the Desert robe top though.

Josef i got no clue what you are talking about and i think that your post if not even relevant to this video.

But to answer your question this place can be found in the desert south of Al-karid, the exact spot is south of the bandit camp

That is not the right place to get the salve amulet though, you need to start the haunted mine quest for the salve amulet, the dungeon you need can be found southwest of mort'ton
