Did I miss something? Exactly what is the Republican party obstructing? If I remember correctly, it was the Democants bragging about their majority / filibuster proof Senate. So now the Blameocrats are going after Republicans because their own party is dysfunctional and can't pass their own bill?

I am. Deeds loosing right now. As Virgina goes, the entire country does NOT. What "higher taxes"? I'm paying the exact SAME. The only thing that went up was booze tax in Illinois, but that was done by the STATE which is republican controlled. How about Virgina's congress woman Virgina Foxx who called the Matthew Shepard incident a "hoax", & that the two men just "robbed" him?
