Mountain Mom (Deborah Swift) demonstrates several methods of knitting Bavarian Twisted Stitches that do not require a cable needle. This video shows a technique that is called "Method D" in her article in the November 2010 - Feb 2011 issue of Cast On magazine. Other chapters show Methods A, B, and C, as well as how to knit these stitches from the Wrong Side of a flat fabric.

  • @joolspix Very glad to hear that! Hope your shawl goes better now. Good knitting to you!

  • I was about to give up on my shawl using bavarian twisted stitches because using a cable needle was so fiddly, but now i can do it your way. Thanks very much for posting this video.
