@DeHeld8 Yes sadly, Kim Jong il, doesnt seem to be following socialism well, plus the critical lack of arable land as a result of US bombing in the Korean war which is why there is starving.

There was never a country which said "we are a communist state", but there are countrys which said "we are a socialist state." and DPRK is also saying this.

But the problem is, NK isn't a communist country. They don't even claim to be one. They got their own nationalist ideology called "Juche".
