The Desert Flower Medallion is a subtle twist on the Sinusoidal Sinnet (not yet presented) tying technique. Providing the opportunity for a radiant flower pattern with a seamless necklace attached, my hope is that this design will add something extra to a tyers gift or sales material reserve. I'm apologize for not having gotten to my emails. I've been working week nights and every second of my weekends to finish Parcord Fusion Ties (my next book). I still work by day, so I can't work on the book then. Most my emails are asking me to do more work (e.g. research a tie, show step-by-steps for another, or produce a video for a specific piece). So I've had to shut them out for now...just until I get this book finished. That said, what's your question?

All the (bracelet) ties I show here can be adapted and fitted with buckles. The best person to learn how to make such adaptions is Stormdrane. He has a YouTube page here, but your best bet is to visit his website (easily found on the web). Your second best move would be to join the Fusion Knots Forum [at FusionKnot(dot)com]. There you'll find over a 1,000 fusion knot tyers converting and innovating my designs with buckles and other accouterments.

this also makes a great bracelet if you pick up the slack early and continue tying the pedals ^.^

Depends on how large you want the loop. You can do just the medallion and a 3" loop with approximately 45" of each color cord, depending on how tightly you pull each loop as you tie.

This gives you enough to make the 4-strand diamond finish and still have the tails, and still be able to manipulate the cord properly.

Really enjoying your instructions. I have been looking for designs with a seamless necklace or lanyard loop to make a more unique hunting knife lanyard for a friend. This one is going on my list of possibilities. I also want to play around with your Jellyfish to see if one of the cords can be pulled out at the top to make a long seamless loop. I suppose just using a long length on one of the strands would do the trick. Thanks for the really cool videos!
