  • This happened again last week. Part of Wilkes-Barre was evacuated and the river was about that high as seen in the video. Crazy stuff man.

  • @yobanas115 if u pointed ur feet last thursday when the river was high u cud touch the river

  • good times in wilkes barre!i was actually very young when this happened and i was really scared.lol

  • not much of a flood the Agnus flood was alot worst than this

  • what is that................a mud slide? lol

  • i remember this i live by the river and had to evacuate my brother me and some friends went driving to see what it looked like and we hit a pot hole really bad cause we couldnt see it and his car cost 1500 to fix! i love living in wilkes barre....so many memories!

  • I remeber driving down to Rome-Wysox PA to see some friends back in 06 shortly after all this flooding, wow it was really bad, i remeber all the damage we saw, next to my friends home is a creek known as dry run creek that never runs hence the name dry run, but during the flooding the creek crested at about 16-20 feet, it runs next to a steep foot hill and u could see where the creek carved into the hill that high up, it was pretty nuts

  • i went through there when it was that high,it was as creepy as shit.

  • This is the Black Diamond, correct? I've only lived in Wilkes-Barre for the last 16 months, but I have literally HUNDREDS of pictures of the Black Diamond. I've seen the river get fairly high, but never as high as in your video. Its really awesome to stand next to it, the water flows SO FAST when its high.

I also like to walk on the levee beyond the Black Diamond. If you still go there, I'm sure we've seen each other. Its BEAUTIFUL up there.
