An 18 hour time-lapse of Darling Harbour overlooking Sydney as viewed from my hotel window.
If you can, watch this in 1080p, theres LOADS of detail in it - you'll see cranes moving acround, the tide rising and falling (somewhat suddenly in the morning and evening), pontoons being shifted, the way wind dances across the bridges ruffling the flags, as well as shadows slowly creeping across various buildings at all times of the day. Unfortunately, Pyrmont bridge didn't rotate and open on monday.
Totalling 30Gb of images (at 21megapixels), some of this footage will be used in another upcoming video. I was at a work conference and on each break, i'd run back to the hotel to change batteries and swap over memory cards. I think it was worth the effort!
I did my best to minimise reflections from the hotel room but couldn't counter the morning sunlight reflection or the "2 extra moons" reflecting at the end. (Next time i might stay at a hotel that has "L" F1.0 glass windows. :-P )
well fcuk me - that was great :-)
