In this review we go over the Audio-Technica ATR25 stereo condenser microphone.

Pros: Comes with many accorssries, Lightweight, and good for getting better audio from a distance compared to an onboard video mic.

Cons: Not the best for audio quality. Lots of highs with little lows.

Total Review: 8/10

  • you should do more product reviews, you did a great job. there's a lot of crappy reviews out there and this is the one someone would be looking for if they wanted one.

  • @SwitchSkater4 Thanks!

  • You need a rode video mic, that thing is some bang for your buck. Sounds awesome and has great lows.

  • @95TurboSol haha funny you say that. I just bought it. It should be here in a couple of days :)

  • could you use that with a camcorder with just a single jack no left and right

  • @lotsaEntertainment Yes one the smaller cord is a stereo cable

  • Will it plug straight to my t3i

  • Now sold as the ATR-6250. It's over 20 years old. That's like buying something made in 1960 in 1980. It was $50 in 1991. It actually gives pretty good results if used carefully.

  • @Friendsofthefruits only cameras with a mic in. Otherwise record it on your computer or a recording device.

  • he's using a shotgun mic like it's a sm58. lol. the constant change in imaging is so annoying.

  • can this be used on any camera?

  • I want to know what this mic will sound like when riding in a car. I have the kodak zi8 and the onboard mic silences out when in a moving car. If anyone has made a video with this mic on a car ride I'd love to see it.

  • 0:40 thats what she said
