This video follows is a compilation of 3 different Turbo Thrushes fertilizing a rice field. It goes from engine start to landing back at the airport. I hope its educational for people that don't know much about crop dusting, as well as entertaining for any ag pilots that see it! Let me know what you think!

I'm also working on one of them spraying.

  • what's wrong with the air-tractors?

  • @PlasticC4

I don't understand exactly what you mean?

  • Weird, looks like he did a full stall landing there at the end, usually wheel landings are used in crop dusting, at least with the turbo props

  • Perhaps....lots of it is pilot preferance so they use both wheel and 3-point landings depending on how they feel that day, lol

  • Loved your videos. Well thought out, good music.

If you want to see some old loaders (1950's)see my video "Aircraft in Agriculture". Lettle different to the loader in your video!!

  • Thanks! Glad you liked them!

  • Great video! Looking for a seat, tail wheel and turb exp. Let me know, have a great day! ,))

  • Very nice....but the music doesn't let the engine sounds be heard that good...

  • @tailwheelflier

Not really...My family and wife have nothing to do with aerial application and I am doing it. You need time, experience. I flew low level pipeline patrol for 6 years, when to ag school and broke in the business in a turbine agcat..
