Guess where I am this week? It's not quiet and beach-like. Quite the opposite! Do you know...?
When you are sitting on a beach, it can be easy to connect and find your stillness, but what about when you are in the hustle and bustle of life and it's pulls of responsibility?
This week's Action Ship comes straight from the busiest place I could find! So many people, lights, movement, energy, distraction...and yet, this is often a more honest representation of our lives than a peaceful beach.
This 'Transmission and Action' is for Maria, who wanted to know how to make time for herself, when she has other pressing responsibilities that eat up all her time and focus. Do you know what it feels like to put your own well being last? Do you 'allow others' to create feelings of guilt if you take time for you?
Do you allow yourself the self focus that you know you need to be the best you?
So, today join me for 6 minutes of centering in a busy place. I am challenging you to stay with your 'stillness' and personal needs in the midst of distraction. Allowing yourself to find the 'perfection' in your own situation.
You can practice this at all times, and the key is to keep FEELING it (rather than trying to THINK it) Your mind will always come up with a reason why it isn't perfect.
Feeling it allows your body to relax, and instantly transport you to a state where you can take balanced action, rather than emotional 're-action'.
Life's challenges happen. They are there to make us stronger. They make us stand up for ourselves- and what we really need. Often we just need to allow this, rather than thinking ourselves out of our self time.
So bring it on! Bring on those challenges and practice your new MAGIC mantra!
@prognob1 HI Prognob! No offense taken :) It was in Times Square, so it's to be expected! It's actually a perfect lesson for me and my viewers to find their 'stillness and quiet' amidst the noise of life :) Enjoy
