  • Thank you for bringing back some long forgotten memories of my beautiful grandmother! Her nails were always manicured to perfection. Back in the day, it was believed that it was unhealthy to paint the moons of one's nails, which is how the trend actually began. It was somehow thought that leaving the moons unpolished was necessary to allow "impurities" to flow from the body. Totally weird, right?

  • @SnapwingOnTheTube That's really interesting! I've never heard that. :)

  • i think they're beautiful thank you so much for your time please make some more its nice to go back in time, have a great day.

  • @Avetoula I'm finally back on the video wagon and more tutorials are being posted as we speak.

  • I think they look unfinnished, like your need to go over the moon and the tip with white or something

  • @Hattie1994 With our eyes trained for a modern look, that's not surprising, but it is the way it was done to leave these areas without polish.

  • What exactly is your problem? You complain that somebody isn't doing their research yet it seems you don't seem to understand at all what the poster of the video was trying to achieve. Read the article. The poor woman has put up a video that she isn't being paid for, just to be nice and helpful to people and you come along and tell her she is doing it all wrong. Its just not polite.

  • Thank you SO MUCH for playing actual classic jazz with your 1930s tutorial. I'm so tired of hearing yucky neo swing with these kind of vintage tutorials!

  • @superkawaiimama its very pretty with just the moon left bare i think, the tip just kind of makes it looked chipped
