Obama completly dodged the question. He was asked about creating jobs, and answered by talking about raising taxes on the rich.

@mites7 do you really think benefit packages/expenses for employees are more or equal to salary paid to employees? Those benefit figures are an average where the variance is much more than he's letting on. Meaning the higher compensation packages inflate lower tier workers numbers.

If you don't learn to invest, then that's your fault. Nobody is here to hold your hand. Literally there are numerous brokerage firms with DIRECT access to financial markets that afford you the opportunity to increase your capital. It's none of the government's business whether or not they make $100B or $1M a year.

Small businesses need to hire, they WANT to hire, and if they hired it would benefit everyone. However, the cost of just hiring one worker goes way beyond their actual salary, and then that worker's salary will be taxed as well. Like in his example it costs 90,000 dollars just to give someone a net income of 34,000 which is pretty modest.

@meshel2012 your post touched me. We should be in constant prayer while arm in arm. Instead, we are divided and hating away at each other.
