The 2008 Feast of Tabernacles video titled "Our Heritage of Faith," recounts the exciting story of the Church of God's spiritual heritage and the keeping of God's Feasts in this modern age of the Church.

United Church of God president Clyde Kilough delivers a message punctuated with interviews and footage of historical sites in Oregon and Texas where Herbert W. Armstrong conducted his ministry during the foundational period of the Church in our days. Many of these sites are mentioned in the autobiography of Mr. Armstrong. This story has special relevance in 2008 as the Church of God has now been keeping these festivals for the past 75 years. See how this work of faith continues in God's Church today in the 21st century.

This video promises to be educational, informative and wonderfully inspiring for young and old alike. We are especially excited to share this history with the young people of the Church to help them remember the Church's roots and embrace the heritage we all share in the Church of God.

You will meet United Church of God brethren living in the United States as they recall the earliest days of keeping the Feast in this modern time. We truly look forward to Gods Kingdom and the time when all of humankind will be keeping God's annual Sabbaths—pictured by the Feast of Tabernacles!

  • There is a United Church of God congregation in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area.

  • Who? From what I recalled the establishment of the church was on the apostles and prophets of the New Testament. While we give honor to those who have done wonderful things in the Body of Christ creating new doctrines on these people are totally against the Word of God anyway. For instance, when people say they are Calvanists or Westlians, etc. I think this is what has destroyed the integrity of the church by creating "denominations" rather than expanding THE CHURCH of JESUS CHRIST, the BODY.

  • It's good you made this record. Thank you for posting it.

  • @MadameFecale Not Christian law, but UCG's law.

  • im in this also

  • Great video...so good to see people continuing in the faith and talking about their memories of the Feast. This stands out among the negativity I've seen.

  • My niece's parents, PCG members, abandoned her, a minor, because she dared to stop PCG from destroying her. She wants to become a doctor and help sick people. PCG ministers said this was "evil." Parent's behavior is cruel and ungodly. Hers is saintly. Use PCG as a benchmark for what religion isn't. PCG is the anti-thesis of religion.

  • I wish I could find a group of people in Cleveland Tn. who keep the Sabbath and feast days around here you are either Baptist or Pentecostals I have to have church by myself.

  • Continue but there is no new revealed truths

In this church and they speak as if the comming of Christ is not near but rather far off

  • This is from the United Church of God who continued teaching the original law after the fissure of doctrine in the 1990s.

  • I understand your point (and forgive me if I'm misinterpreting your intent), but you may want to look at the differences in our doctrine before you judge the intent of the video. The Church differentiates itself based on it's emphasis on pure biblical teachings instead of additives like Christmas and Sunday worship. It is because of this that a separation is necessary for this Christian Church; and thus it cannot be nondenominational.

  • I pose a greater question to you: Why question this video in regard to a lacking name of a MAN? What difference does it make that his or any others' name isn't included? It is for the glory of God that all things are done-- so what if one who SHOULD be humble and nameless in God's service is left out. It sounds like you worship prestige according man's memory instead of serving God faithfully and with HUMILITY. We all struggle with this, but give some thought to what you're calling into question
