My dad quit by just chewing regular gum. Took him awhile of doing it, though. I know they have nicotine gum, but it would seem that all you're doing is prolonging the addiction.

Yeah I agree. We don't smoke for the taste of it (well atleast I don't anyway).
At the momment i'm craving real bad and the gum trick does not work for me unfortunately.

I chew nicotine gum and that helps alot, gum with no nicotine I doubt that will work, we dont smoke cigaretts for the taste

@joeyyowee yeah if ou put it inbetween your cheek and gums like chew but other than that you should be fine.

Big Red has sugar in it and I'm not sure that's the best choice of gum. I have gotten sores in my mouth from chewing that and I heard of other people getting sores from it as well.
