  • @beaudashing The best thing is to simply continue the practice - dreams are illusions, as are passing thoughts and so on. The benefits gained from a steady meditation practice far out weigh any mild discomfort, and eventually all forms of discomfort (especially in moment to moment living) become utter non-issues. You become calm and peaceful in your thoughts and interactions with others - it's great!

    Good luck if you decide to keep it up :)

  • Yes, I believe the west will make men and women in equal standing in the sangha and probably also do away with much of the cultural taboos that crept into the monastic life throughout the centuries.
