as meek1meek said, you dont really need to waterproof the board unless ur going to drive it in less than 1.5 cm or so of water

i completely submerged mine!!! this video has inspired me, but i broke it cause i kinda slapped mine together quickly. finally got that video up

if ur only driving the zip zap in that height of water than u dont need to water proof it because it wont get to the mother boad

Yeah the body is supposed to come off. I customized it with a silver sharpie which I took my time, and a toy car blower which is screwed into the hood.

Well, I made another video over a bridge over a full sink of water, it fell in and still works, but something went wrong, I didn't wrap it right, so I un-did it and wrapped it up in 3 layers and went for it again. I was actually able to drive it under water and under icy water.
