I don't think she is. She just deals with her problems differently than others. This society encourages people to be like Blue, where if you have a problem, don't complain or even talk about it, just deal with it on your own by any means possible even if the means are self-destructive.

They talk, complain, and that are seen as annoying, stupid, less than, weak, etc. But, it's just a different way of dealing with the same problems. And her name isn't that hard to spell. Or look at the comments from this video alone. There are far more comments complaining about Lavina's character than Blue's. It's not like selling your body and having all these secrets is any better than laying it all out on in open. As the series goes on, you can tell Blue is not well put together nor is Lavina, but those are two different, yet acceptable ways of dealing with suckiness.
