Skyrim - Reforging Mehrunes' Razor

This is the final part of the "Pieces of the Past" quest. During this quest you have to acquire the shattered pieces of Mehrunes' Razor, a daedric artifact also found in The Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion.
You give all the pieces to the quest giver and he'll take them to a place called "Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon". At this shrine you'll be given the option to reforge it, which I did.

This is also a good place to farm Daedra Hearts for smithing Daedric armor, and these mobs respawn once in 2 in-game weeks.

how do u forge it if you kill the silus dude?

I don't think you can get it if you've killed him before this quest =/

If you got all the pieces of the dagger and killed him then, you can of course try to get to the mountain and use the Shrine, it might work.

@MitchellKraats for some reason now ive killed him i lost the handle bit and i have no idea where its gone! is there any other way of getting the dagger?
