Wow He says"The fact that we dont fund fully special education in America is a disgrace. Then he goes ahead and denies amendment to increase funding for special education. What a hypocrite.

How does he know that parent is "wonderful?" How does he know she doesn't beat the crap out of her kids, or shackle them to the dining room table leg? Give me a break. What a sycophant. He didn't care about deboning HeadStart. At least he didn't indict vaccinations. The increase in diagnoses has partly to do with increased awareness, certainly. And at least he said he's not an expert. Cindy should have kept teaching.

I have a 4 year old granddaughter who is high-functioning autistic. As far as I'm concerned, people like you and hq2345 deserve no pity. Amen, I have a son with Autism, and should McCain win, I have delusions that his educational opportunities and programming support will disappear! I am not fooled by his "wife working with disabled children" they have not lived in the shoes of a parent struggling everyday with the issues that confront families of disabled children, ad if they had, they have the money to buy any services needed without having to drive themselves into a financial crisis. Gimme a break, McCain.....
