@Digitalbumpin I agree, it's rare for me to come across a book hat I literally have trouble puting down, but Terry Brooks' Genesis of Shannara trilogy were that kind of book. They're simply captivating, and I'm especially fond of Brooks' detched, observatory narrative style.

Best Fantasy Author Ever. Bar none. Period. End of story. He has taken the genre and advanced it. If you haven't read Terry Brooks you are really depriving yourself of some of the greatest fantasy works that will ever be written.
And of course some stupid parent brings their young baby that won't shut the fuck up. Have some respect for those around you. Nothing enrages me more than a fucking baby that won't shut up. It's not cute or funny at all. It's frustrating as hell.

Terry Brooks is the reason i got into reading period! aftter i read every shannara book he threw at me i became an avid reader, so couldn't agree more!
