  • My problem is that my skates feel great when I'm walking on them... But when I start skating, a strong 'strain' type pain starts on the outside of my left foot where my little toe is... Following rearward towards the back... All on the left side of the foot. As soon as I get off the ice... The pain goes away. Starts back up as soon as I start skating again. Right foot is fine. Any ideas?

  • @emenentia That's a tough one. It could be the arch of your foot doesn't match your skate. Or it could be that your skate is pushing against your foot, or against a nerve. But since this definitely has something to do with you leaning forward as it only happens on the ice, it's possible the toe box in your skate is too narrow. Maybe one foot is larger than the other, or just that one foot is more sensitive to pressure that's applied it. I don't know.

  • @emenentia Try on your friend's skates that have the same size but a different manufacturer or model, and see if you get the same pain.

  • Can someone help me? Whenever i tie my skates, after like an hour i get a tinteling/prickeling in my left foot like it's sleeping.. This lasts for about 2 days. Is this the cause of bad skates or something?

  • @DatGlekkie ) You could have poor circulation of blood in your left foot. 2) Your skates could be too tight. 3) You may have nerve damage and the skate is pushing against a nerve. 4) You could have a high arch and the skate is applying too much pressure on the bottom of your foot. 5) You could have the wrong width of skates 6) Your skate just fits your foot really badly, in which case, you'll need to try another model of skates or another hockey skate manufacturer.

  • I Lost Blood Circulation To My Foot/Ankle And It Fell Off Whilst Skating.....

  • @McCredzz Stem Cell therapy is the newest biggest thing.

  • Dude , that really helps , thanks a lot :)

  • @DatGlekkie Lace bite. Is it maybe too tight right on the top of your ankle? It's happened to me before. Try to make sure your foot is stabilized but not so tight it's mashing on the top of your ankle.

  • Great its on my favs definetly
