I have to say, out of all the things DIC did wrong with the series, the transformation sequences were done RIGHT!!! I agree with the person who pointed out cultural differences and power vs pretty. These were pulled off nicely for North American audiences

I personally like how the English adaptation music makes the transformation about the girls' power, not about how she's getting pretty. Perhaps this is an area where we're dealing with cultural differences and preferences.
