@StirringtheDeep That's exactly right, Rachel. This "sin-pattern" can be understood from the original sinner, Lucifer. First, his heart was "lifted up" (there's the pride) BECAUSE of his "beauty" and his "merchandise" (there's the love of dirt "money" part)...AND he sinned it says in Ezekiel 28. And what was the first sin (disobedience of 10 Love Commandments) to manifest from his selfish heart? A lie told to Eve, which led to murder, and on and on the "evil fruit" bloomed.

I love your vids they make perfect since. It's sad 2 say not many people make since when they talk about the word of God b/c they don't have a true undestanding of scripture & a relationship w God. Thanks, keep letting God use u!
God's message to me in 2010 was that "pride" and "love" are polar opposites. Therefore, ALL sin (which is disobedience to God's 10 Love Commandments) is rooted in one's own pride! And this pride manifests itself in a "love of money (dirt)".
This is why Jesus taught for us to obtain eternal life we must REPENT of sin by "hating our life" "losing our life" and "denying ourself" etc---all "sacrificing our pride" things---in order that we might be able to love (obey God's 10 Love Commandments).

@GabrielAnsley I recently heard that when we repent - we are repenting from self - sin is following our own way and all the individual acts we think of normally as sin are all just symptoms of following our own way - which I suppose yes could be the same as pride. Thanks for the thoughts. - Rachel

This is another great video. Christ in you rocks!
Giving up yourself will, that is an awsome statement. I think that is important to notice that God never gave us/or intended us to live by; our own will. It is a result of leaving his judgement and entering our own.
Keep posting these these videos.
