I have seen this man live three times since this past July and have been totally blown away each time. You run out of superlatives trying to describe him. For my money, Chris is simply the finest Blues guitarist AND singer I've seen since Stevie Ray Vaughn in the 1980s. When he gets rolling on stage some kind of spirit comes down from Heaven and inspires him. A major, major, underrated talent.

@KENZOWAL Well there mister, there's this dude Buddy Witthington, ever heard of him? And of course there R plenty of fantastic guitarists out there that can play the blues... thousands and thousands gifted around our Globe that never ever gonna be recognized for their skills...

@blumuze2 Chris isnt a legend(yet)cuz in blues it takes as you say a couple of lifetimes also touring 300 days per year like BB & the rest. Chris can stay home, play W. Coast&local gigs & most of the year & make a living. we toured 6 or seven weeks, 15 cities from Salt Lake to Montreal to N.M. Hard grind, but not 300 one nighters. & tho he is probably the best,and certainly the most prolific blues song writer since Willie Dixon,he'll never get airplay even if he writes another "thrill is gone".

theres way better blues guitarist then this guy.. by far stevie ray vaughan for one even though he's not alive rest in peace alvin lee will murder this foe on guitar no doubt but this guy has something specail though i think he's wonderful but there is no best it's all based upon opinion because theres always someone better plus you can't but that kind of subtitle on music, music can't be rated by who's the best it's just virtually impossible it's all opinion.. everyboyd has like and dislikes.
