@islandgirl Very real, that American Pilots only need about 3 shots to kill, and the GErmans could take the hole Plane+Pilot in pieces, and it still flys, the opposite was real, you ahd quantity, we had quality Planes+Pilots^^ also there was only one Red Plane in the Air, form the great Manfred von Richthofen, the others had other colors.

This movie was an experiment. A cruel sadistic someone made a scientific research about how many -worn out movie clichees -wooden hero dialogues -adolescent love stories -massive historical and technical inaccuracies -prejudices and clichees about Germans -loutish patriotism -cartoonish sub plots/story lines one´s able to cramp into one single movie. Darth Black Falcon meets Indiana Jones meets the Death Star Zeppelin. It would be hillarious if it wouldn´t be THAT annoying.
