@theydontlikeitupem I'd be a little more impressed if he knew it was himself. That would mean that they are conscious like we are. Even cats can experiment with mirrors and we share more DNA with a banana than we do them. Still though, funny clip.

Actually, this is pretty intelligent behavior. First, he reacts with alarm at the unknown. Then, he masters his fear and attempts to understand the phenomenon. He does this by performing a number of experiments, seeing what's behind the mirror, then attempting to climb into the mirror. Might look comical to us, but it's actually demonstrative of many of the cognitive qualities we possess as humans.
