Just in case you haven't figured it out yet:
Go back to the communications room, and back to the romm with the locked door again. Do this a few times, and there will be a different messeg on the screen in the communications room.

Hey Sornolin, I know where it is. You know those pipes that come down from the ceiling to smash you? Go into the very first smashing pipe you see.
-
Though now I have to ask: How does one open the [first?] locked door in the Chaos CompleXX level?
-
Nevermind, I found it in one of the crushing pipes. That was ingenious.

About the sixth boss level, the Sandy Shrine. Where is the gateway located? I ask because I'm fed up of looking for it in that dang castle and I've thoroughly looked in about all the nooks, crannies, and corners of the whole place.

The Switch Palaces were merged within four levels of the game. Which four, I won't mention here in hopes that I don't spoil it for anyone.
Even though one of the levels in this game does it anyway.
Too bad FPI didn't changed the star music.

What exactly IS TSRP or TSRPR? Are they just remakes of SMW?

No, TSRPR is a remake of TSRP. Both are hacks of SMW, but with a exception of the level featured in this video (which is a SML-remake) they contain all-new levels. You can find more information on my website (link in my profile) or just search for "TSRP", "TSRP2" or "TSRPR" in Youtube and you'll find quite a few videos about it. ;)

Has the level order been changed? I just had a quick run-though of TSRPR's first level but it was totally different to TSRP's first level which is the one shown in the video.

Actually the Super Mario Land level is still the first level on the map, along with "Mole Ruins #1". But this time, it's entirely optional.
