@noturb0911 Nope. A short-field take-off is simply intended to get the aircraft off the ground in as little runway as possible. It has nothing to do with a steep climb-out for airshow purposes. This is more akin (albeit in commercial airliner terms) to a Blue Angels max performance climb-out.

its an airshow and the only reason they stay level as soon as in the air is to create enough airspeed to do an abnormal steep climb
